Nail Polish Wish List

 

I’ve always liked to paint my nails. My earliest memory of nail polish was when I was a small girl.. back in standard 5, when I brought about 15 bottles to a sleepover with girlfriends. We had planned to do each other’s nails but found ourselves preoccupied with junk food and gossip instead. Yup, they we forgot about my very comprehensive nail polish collection. ( Well, girls being girls! hahahaa)

Fast forward to several years later, and I’m still fancy with color on my nails. When I feel like treating myself to a relaxing mani-pedi session, I usually go to Nail Parlour (at One Utama) , Nail Shop (One Utama)  or Nails Garden (at e@ Curve).

Of the three nail salons, I find myself getting pampered at Nail Shop the most. Not only do they offer speedy mani-pedi services, they have a nice automatic massage chair while you are having your nails done (no extra charge). I also always, always, find nice shades in their nail paint collection. They carry brands like China Glaze, Orly, Essie, and OPI. However, when I am for lack of funds, I will to treat myself to a homemade manicure. I’ll post my creation next time.

 

As for a good news! I still able to have a girly night with my friends from my ex-company couple of months back, we had fun doing nails (Arigato to Coco!) and have a really fun night.. oh boy.. i missed them so much! (Maybe we should do it one more frequent???)

 

Being an easily excited girl, IImagine my reaction when I saw OPI’s recently released preview of the The Mariah Carey Holiday Collection is a big one. 18 polishes in total. The collection is made up of 12 cremes/shimmers/glitters and 6 new Liquid Sand shades. The collection is really heavy on reds which personally doesn't thrill me but I feel like OPI made up with that with the glitters and liquid sand shades!

 

 

My Top Favourite :

• All I Want For Christmas (is OPI) is a red creme. This is the most classic holiday-ish shade of the reds in this collection. Which would be totally awesome if I have one!!!!!!!!
• All Sparkly And Gold is a super dense gold micro glitter.
• Baby Please Come Home is a metallic dusty lilac liquid sand.
