Halal Dim Sum – China Treasures Mount Kiara

Olla everyone!

Do you like to eat dim sum? If yes, then I have a place to recommend. Personally understand how tricky it is to find a halal dim sum restaurant that could cater muslim last time I did write about Siang Restaurant in Sogo and this time I tried a new place.

The restaurant name is China Treasures and it is located inside mount Kiara convention center. If I am not mistaken my husband called it as Sime Darby Convention Center.. well we are living in the new age right now, you may just google or waze your way to the location.

Do bare in mind to book your seat if you don’t want to go back with empty tummy bcoz this place always full house especially on weekends. I went there in January (after few months only got the time to blog about it… hahaha better late than never right?) and so relieved that I made the rsvp. Y? Bcoz when we arrived and while waiting to be seated we saw group of uncle and auntie have to find other place for their makan2 since the place is fully booked.

As for the cost, you may order your dim sum ala carte way and the cost ranging form rm6-20 depending on which type of dish. They also have buffet and it cost around rm69.90 for each person. Since we are rewarding ourself with a brunch then we decided to opt for buffet instead. At that time I just got my bonus and decided to treat my strong pillars (hubby, bro and sofea of coz!) Actually it is a good deal if you are a dim sum lover. Because you may order as many as your heart desire but please make sure don’t waste it k? If you have smaller tummy capacity then I suggest you take the ala carte instead.

One of our favourite dish of the day is the charcoal bun there. It is the black coloured bun you can see in the picture. What make it special apart from the black colour is the filling. It is salty egg filling and im pretty sure they added custard or butter because it is very creamy and yummy!

I cant really remember the name if the dishes by now (after 2 months plus only blog that y laaaa) but I can remember how good it tasted. Not super great but good. Value for money if you love dim sum and go for the ala carte if you are more conscious of the amount of food to makan…  As for the varieties is also quite okay.. not too bad..

I managed to snap this photo of the terms and condition so you will know what opt expect and such. Hope this review is some how helpful if you are looking for a halal dim sum restaurant. If you have any other nice dim sum place that you have tried.. please let me know, would love to try it out as well Smile

Arigato and take it easy!

* I am not paid to write this review. This is my personal makan trip and paid for the meal like any other customer. As usual, I will test and review products or services regardless of whether they have been sent to me or not with honesty. Unless stated so in the post or marked with an asterisk, all products featured on this blog have been bought with my own hard-earned pennies. I started this blog to give my two pennies worth of thought and have fun along the way and that is exactly how this blog shall remain.

  4. Assalamualaikum Illy, OMG you make me salivate at 2 something in the morning looking at all those dim sum. I miss eating them, haven't eaten it for quite a while. At least now I know there's 2 options in town, either sogo or sime Darby convention centre. I remembered my mum mentioning even their dinner buffet is sedap.. Tengok bila ada rezeki boleh pergi makan.
