Assalamualaikum and Olla everyone!

How are you today? Hope you are are having a great week ahead. Thank you for spending your precious time to visit my humble blog and today I would like to share with you on why Mustela is my choice for Sofea. Honestly, I always try my very best to look for the best product for my baby as she tend to have a sensitive skin right after she was born.

The first time I bump into this brand is when I saw it at one of mummy’s clothing shop at one utama and I have been curious ever since. Then my bestie from blogging world Ayna shared that she been using this brand for her son, Ammar.

Guess what, one day I got an email from the brand saying that they would send me Mustela product for a review and I am like yes!! Dont get me wrong, even if they don't send it over I would still go out to purchase and try it out for my baby. After all, the main reason I get this blog up is to share my 2 cents of insight of services or product that worth to be shared.

Talking about my daugther condition, I am grateful enough that she do not have eczema. My heart goes out to all the parents out there who struggling to heal their baby’s skin. I remembered that one time, when my baby was just 2 months that she develop a nasty rash around her private area and it just breaks my heart. Ever since, I try my best to care and protect her skin also take care of her diet. Alhamdulilah, she do not face any of the issue now and I am happy to share she do not have any diaper rash at all. Happy skin, yeay!

PhysiObebe No rinse micellar water - 300ml for RM62.00

Let’s cut the chase and get to know the first product shall we? This is PhysiObebe No rinse micellar water. This product is very useful at home and even on the go. The no-rinse formula just make it way easier. I love t he fact that this micellar water contain Aloe Vera which means while you clean your baby skin you also help to sooth the skin that to all the soothing and gentle ingredients from the Aloe Vera.

This product is formulate for private area and gentle enough to be use on the face. You can also wet a cotton pad or swabs to clean baby’s nostril and other area’s like their neck (tend to develop rashes during new born phase) and their ears. This will help to protect from any bacterial growth as baby’s skin is still considered very virgin and haven't fully adapt to the environment yet.

Mustela are very committed to provide the safe product to be used and with 60 years of experience in this range working together with professionals in healthcare, for me that I felt assured. Knowing that their products are free from all the nasty stuff like paraben, phtalate and many others it just gave a peace of mind.

Mustela Dermo Cleansing – 500ml for RM75.00

I love this Mustela Dermo Cleansing product.First off, the smell is just so calming and relaxing. It make bath time something to look forward too.. haha Personally, to me It is more like a shower gel. A very good kind of shower gel. Why? Because it is soap-fee and it also contained Avocado and vitamin B5 (great to sooth sensitive skin). Since it is soap free, do not expect a lavish bubbles. The great thing about using Mustela product is that is is specially formulate to minimize the risk of allergic reaction.

If your baby is having an intolerant skin, I would suggest to try out Stelatopia range by Mustela as that provide a better care, to treat and to protect your baby skin. It also helps to increase your baby’s skin tolerance at the same time. Since, Sofea’s skin is fully recovered and healthy now I will just continue using Mustela Dermo Cleansing for her.

Mustela  123 Vitamin Barrier Cream – 100ml RM40.00

WHY OH WHY I did not try out this product earlier when Sofea had her rashes? Okay good thing is, now that we have this diaper cream we know that we could provide her with the right care if ever needed. I have been reading lots of wonderful review about this 123 Vitamin Barrier Cream. All the write up I bump into have nothing but good insight about this product and so happy to finally have it our custody. The texture of the cream is thick and rich, yet absorb quite quickly into the skin. If you are curious 123 symbolise the 3 main step to a healthy skin which is 1 to Prevent, 2 to Soothe, and 3 to Recover. At each step, Mustela incorporated a special botanical active ingredients to aid the process.

For step 1 Avocado, for step 2 Oxeoline and for step 3 sunflower oil. Yes, another reason why I pick Mustela for my baby is because they put a high priorities of natural origin as possible where 92% ingredients are from natural origins on average. A super win from me! If you know me well, you would know that I have a special spot for brand that use natural ingredients as much as they could.

Alright we are at the end of this post and thank you so much for staying with me. Before I end this post, I would like to share some personal tips and hope that it would be helpful :

  • Don't get upset if your baby skin is not a top notch condition after she/he was born as baby skin is still trying to adapt to the environment. Strongly suggest you to use the most gentle product you could find. After 6 moths, your baby skin will improve dramatically from my personal experience. If it get worse, dont wait. Go and consult dermatologist.
  • Try not to use mitten as often. Baby learn the most by sensory sense. Their eye sight is still rapidly developing so one of the source they learn about this new strange world is by touching. Let their tiny hands explore the world. Mitten if use on a dam skin would not be good for your baby’s skin. It might cause bacterial growth. I know you might worry that your baby scratch their own face right? Tips : make sure their cute nails were trimmed. Try to trim while they were sleeping as it is easier to be done.
  • Try not to use any form of powder for your baby. Not only is not good is your baby is asthmatic, it also cause clumping of dead skin if applied on a wet skin and may also cause bacterial infection. Use lotion or oil instead to moisturize and protect your baby’s skin the right way.

Hope you like the tips and till next post!

Happy Parenting and dont forget to take it easy and smile.
