UVporcelain+ by SOS | Review |

Feb 18, 2018

Assalamualaikum and Olla everyone!

I just recovered from break out, along the way I tried using skincare (talk about it on another blogpost) and also at the same time I am consuming this beauty pills called UVporcelain+ by Science on Skin (SOS). As mentioned earlier in my instagram post. It is actually the most expensive pills I ever consumed for beauty purposed. A month supply of 30 capsules cost RM399.

To be completely honest, I have been trying my best to consume it daily. I mean it would not be fair to write a review without testing it diligently. As much that I have tried not to forget eating it daily, I skipped 2 days in total so far. My bad, switch my handbag and forgot to take it with me.

Like many others who is in pursuit of having the best skin condition, I have tried many supplements. I am actually quite curious what makes this pills different than the rest. It is marketed as consumable sunblock. Hurm.. I was very sceptical at first. I am soo used to be applying sunblock, haven’t been around the concept of consuming pills in order to get UV protection. Well, just because I am not familiar with it does not mean it do not do wonder. So, set my mind to be open to possibilities and give it a try.

This is how the box looks like.

This is what is written at the back of the box. In each pills, you will get 250mg  L-Glutathione, 240mg Polypodium Leucotamos Extract, 114mg of Vitamin C, 110mg of Collagen Peptide. Almost everyone know that the combination of L-Glutaathione and Vitamin C is highly effective method to whiten and brighten your skin. However, like everything in life “moderation is the key”. Instead of guessing if you have consume enough orange, or take over the amount that should be taken in. Taking this pills make it very simple. I know the amount and the combination of L-Glutathione, Vitamin C, Collagen are just nice for that day.

I felt assured taking this pills from SOS because it go through a high standard process in order to get certification by US FDA. I do noticed some product in the market that contain super high level of Vitamin C and actually, there are limits of how much our blood can obsorb. The extra will just be considered as toxin and give extra work load to our liver in order to cleanse it from our body.

Each metal strip contain 10 capsules of 750mg each and there are 3 strip in a box. The pills is white in colour, in case you are wondering. Okay, how does this UV Porcelain+ helps? The combination of ingridients will control pigmentation by inhibiting melanin production. Melanin are the skin pigment that are produced in order to protect our skin from harmful UV. It is our body defense system over sunlight. Which is why we tend to have sunburn/ darker skin tone when we are exposed under the sun. By stopping melanin production, we will have brighter tone.

On top of that, UV Porcelain+ also helps to reduce melanin that is already in our cells. Which means dark spots and freckles will be reduced. But is it safe? Since we wont be producing melanin that supposed to protect us, then are we exposed to the danger of UV? This is where UV Porcelain+ play its role to also provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. It works like an invisible umbrella that protect our skin while also clearing our skin from within.

After trying out for 20 days, I noticed that not just my face even my hand complextion become fairer. You can see the picture on the left is my before picture and the right is my after. Skin around my hand area match better with my face. Overall, I have been to the beach twice within this period. I noticed didnt have as much sunburn. On top of that, even my leg is getting fairer (but cannot show because aurat haha). Okay, that’s it for today. I hope you find it informative. Thank you so much for spending your time to read this up. Till next blogpost. Don’t forget to take it easy and smile!
