Bonjour and Assalamualaikum everyone!
I am happy to be back with a latest skincare review and this time around we are going to get deeper into French beauty. Where it is all derived from the nature. If you have been around following my  humble blog, then it is not a secret that I am a believer when it come to power of nature. Anyway, have you heard of  Thalassotherapy? It is my first time encounter with this word. It is actually from a Greek word which is “Thalassa” meaning sea and it is introduce by Dr. De La Bonardhiere way back in 1867. What is actually mean is the beauty therapy using the sea. Specifically the French salt water from the sea. What makes French salt water so crucial when it comes to beauty? According to the research, when dipped into the sea mineral water, the minerals from the sea absorbed into our epidermis (skin layer) and the process is similar to a discharged battery being charged.

The good news is, scientist found out that the sea water from French contain not 2 not 10 but 100 times more minerals that the renowned European mineral water Evian. How interesting is that?

For Thalassotherapy, blue algae and oligofucellaran is also combined as a trio for amazing skin result. This is because blue algae contained great anti-oxidant properties while Oligofurcellaran helps to retain water inside your skin which act as moisturizing agent.

As the name mentioned, this product need to be the first product to be used on your skin even before toning. Normally, I would use a toner before putting on serum. However for the past weeks, I have break my regime to try out The Therapy First Serum. After washing my face, I used The Therapy First Serum before going into the next step of toning, serum, moisturizing and also sun block. I have been using The Therapy First Serum even for my night routine.

The main reason that The Therapy first serum need to be used as your first layer of skin care is because it funtion to improve penetration for the next skincare products. In other word, to make your skin be ready before slurping all the goodness of your skincare routine.

It is also nice to know that The First Therapy serum contain french salt water and 3 type of natural essential oils. The essential oils involved are extracted from Palmosa, Avocado and also Sandalwood. Each essential oils are picked as the active ingridients due to its properties. For Palmosa oils, it have antibacterial and antiseptic properties which be able to give your skin the protection from bacteria. Avocado oils are well known to be moisturizing agent while Sandalwood oils help to reduce scars. blemishes, wrinkles and even sagginess which is a great anti-aging properties. I like that is comes with a pump diffuser as it reduce the posibilities of spillage.

The second product I tried is this Moisture Blending Formula Cream by THE FACE SHOP. I love the texture of this product alot. Like seriously. When I open the cap, I can see 2 seperated ingridients the first layer looking more like a gel and the second layer looks like a cream.

Which actually explain why a spatula was given together with the product. You need to mix them all together. I had fun mixing the product in a swirl motion. Actually the upper layer also known as the moisture oil gel cream, contained the Thalassotherapy water plus the 3 essential oils. Is it the essential oils from Sandalwood, Avocado and Palmosa. While the lower layer also know as Rich Moisture Cream, contained the moisture anti-aging blending formula.  The moment I mixed the ingridients together, a milky light blue cream appear out of the combination.

Even when the formulation said contained oil, to be honest you cant guess bythe texture. The product is not oily whatso ever. It absorb very fast within few seconds and no sticky feeling after application. My skin felt supple and hydrated after application. I am also very happy to know that The therapy range used the power of nature to help us achieve beautiful healthy skin.
