Phuture Plant Base Meat - Food Review

Assalamualaikum and Olla everyone! 

Recently I tried Phuture Plant Base Meat, Burger Patties, and would like to share a review over it. You know I write about things that tickle my fancy. This round is this unique and interesting plant base meat. If you are in the market to try out something new yet very familiar, do give it a try. 

Burger with no cholesterol? Who do I sign up?? hahaha... I find it to be a healthier option. By consuming Phuture meat patties, you don't have to worry about non-healthy ingredients because it is 100% plant base. Which also means it does do no have animal proteins, no animal antibiotic, no added preservatives, and no artificial coloring. Sounds good right?  I also have no hesitation to give it to my kids as I am confident with its nutrients. 

This is how the packaging looks like. I like the colour and cheerful design of the packaging. Do you know that it has 21% less saturated fat compared to regular ground beef? This means it is also good for those who are conscious eaters. Anyway, sharing the ingredients I used to make a simple yet not so traditional burger. At that time, I was so excited to try them out you have no idea.

First, let's open the box. So, catchy right? Do you know that plant-based meat alternatives are better for consumers and better for the planet, requiring less land and water and producing fewer greenhouse gas emissions than meat from cattle.

Let's take a closer look. As you can see, Phuture plant base meat patties are a source of iron, vit b6, b12 and e. On top of all that, it has no trans fat, uses natural colouring, and as mentioned earlier, it is cholesterol-free. 

Toward the bottom, you can check the nutrition facts and methods to cook. From frozen state, you can just cook it for 2 mins each side to the desired level of doneness. I decided to be experimental and use my pre-heated air fryer at 100 degrees celsius for 2 mins each side. Show you the result shortly. 

For each box, you will get two patties. It is vacuum-sealed like so. Also at the back is my small hydroponic garden. Totally of topic, but I'm happy with the progress so gonna show it off a lil bit hahahaha.... 

Back to the patties. How real can this look? If I didn't read the packaging, I may have mistaken it with a traditional meat patty, the prettier-looking version with no blood dripping out of it. 

Taaaa daaa... I just then pop it in my air fryer like so. 

Prepare a store-bought bread, cut some crispy lettuce because what is a burger without yummy lettuce. 

Can you believe it? OMG.......... 

Give you a close-up of the cooked meat patties. The picture didn't do justice to the actual product. I am very amazed by the result. It really does look like meat patties. Sooo power la food technologies nowadays!! 

Okay wait first, we are not finished yet. It is a sin not to have some cheese and freshly cut tomatoes to go with a burger. Why am I writing this at night? Now, I'm hungry again and I want more it yummy goodness. 

I cannot tahan... you see la.......... haiyo.. 

Serious sedap, if it is not yummy I won't be spending my time to share this with you. May invite a bash hahahahaa... really yummy and I think it is a good alternative for those who are vegan that use to be meat-eaters. If you miss a burger this is a splendid option. Also for those who want to have a healthier diet, it's healthy and fulfilling at the same time.
