KOMUJI CAFE sooooo yummy!
Assalamualaikum and Olla everyone!
Do you love Japanese pastry? Well, you have come to the right place. Today, I will be sharing with you about Komuji. I am pretty sure many of you have heard about this pastry heaven! If haven’t don’t worry as I’ll be sharing my experience with all of you in this blogpost.
So, last 2 weeks my daughter and I went to Komuji at Sunway Giza outlet to have a tea time session. We had a good time with Yukiko (always a pleasure to meet her haha), then we also meet Sue Lyn (@bangsarbabe), Ivan (@psylancer) , Kristal and John. Aiyakkk…. Totally forgotten to take a group pic, its okay next time then!
As we arrived, we check out all of the amazing selection at Komuji. They have so many pastry selection and we spoilt with choices. They have cakes, bread, those with filling those with not, they have spicy one, sweet one and even savoury type of bread. Sofea cant seem to keep her eyes for the yummy looking pastry! P/s: Thanks Yuki for carrying my 15kg baby and make it look effortless haha
Our first delight of the day was an array of Hanjuku Cheese cake. I tried to get sofea to pose but the cake is more pretty interesting than mummy, hence the attention goes to it hahaha. As a mother, I only allow my daughter to consume all natural ingridients becasue I want her digestive system to stay healthy for a long as possible. Which is why I could be selective on what I let her eat. With Komuji, non of that worry me at all as Komuji only use all natural and premium ingredients for all of their product.
Since Komuji are all about Japanesse pastry, even their team of cheff are consulted by Cheff are from japan. Not bad huh? No need to fly to japan to enjoy yummy pastry. their ingridients are imported from Japan. But……………. if my husband want to bring our family go to Japan, I will still say yes hahahahaha Even if you have been, then you missed their pasty, it is good to know that premium quality japanesse pastry are easily accesbile even in Malaysia right?
Hanjuku cheese cake is one of their best seller and I can totally understand why. The cake is so soft that it just melt in your mouth. It also not too sweet just nice for my liking. Sofea had 2 serving and we end up taking home another 6. Hanjuku Cheese Cake are available in Original, chocolate and also matcha which is green tea flavour. I personally like the chocolate flavour the most.
Thanks to Ivan, Kristal and John, I get to learn on how to make better food flat lay hehe Actually the flatlay are designed by them. I just cant help but to snap a photo of their arrangement as it is very unique and different that my usual style. They even bring props to make the arrangement aligned with their instagram theme. I’m am impressed and it is an inspiration for myself to be better as a blogger. Life is all about connecting with people, exchanging ideas and self improvement. Glad to be able to spend time with all of them on that day.
The picture above are actually Baum. and these are special version called Cool Baum. It is actually a traditional layer cake in Germany and a very popular snack in Japan. Cool Baum is special because it contained ice cream in the center of baum. They have 4 selections for you to try. You can have either vanilla, mango, chocolate or matcha ice cream center. We tried all four hahaha..
If you would like to try both Cool Baum and also Hanjuku Cheese then do check out their current high tea promo. I think it worth your every penny. Only Rm14.90 for 2 yummy japanese pastry and a drink of coffee or tea not bad right?
Actually, I will definately put Komuji as my top pick when it come to pastry from now on. I mean what is there not to love? Good quality, great taste, all natural ingridients and they even have 13 outlets so it so easily accesible. Also Komuji are a great option if you are looking to buy a gift during family gathering, or just to buy a nice gift for your friend. why? because they have nice packaging as well. Actually, I brought back quite alot of products from Komuji and I really like the way they packaged their pastry. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it for my mum or sister.
I wish I snap a picture of them, but the moment I want to snap the picture most of the products were gone. Consumed by my bro, my husband and sofea hahaha.. Anyway, dont just trust my word for it. Do check it out with your own eyes and visit their nearest outlet when ever you have the time to do so k?
