Dolce&Gabbana The One Collector’s Edition

Nov 27, 2014

Olla everyone!

How’s your Friday so far? Hope that you are having an awesome time. Today I would like to introduce you to an exclusive Collector’s Edition range by Dolce & Gabbana. I am pretty sure this great news will delight the fans of Dolce & Gabbana range.

If you still remembered I did a review about The One by Dolce & Gabbana earlier this year and now they come back with the elegant Collector’s edition. Yippie yeay!

Check out the stunning range for both man and women. The new bottles of collector’s editions are presented in ruby red for women, as a symbol of ultimate luxury, and royal shades of brown for men, celebrating the timeless elegance and luxury. Both bottles feature coins in gold color resembling the discovery of ancient Sicily and the influence of ancient Greece. The motif of minted coins as the main feature of these collectible editions describes the mysterious, intense, energetic woman and sophisticated man who charms with his strength and mind.

Talking about Dolce&Gabbana The One Collector’s Edition  for woman. I just love the bottles, it look so pretty, so strong and sophisticated at the same time. Oriental-floral fragrance for women DOLCE & GABBANA THE ONE EAU DE PARFUM COLLECTOR opens with sparkling accords of bergamot and mandarin, flavored by fruit juices of litchi and peach. The heart develops with aromas of Madonna lilies surrounded by soft vanilla, hot amber and sensual musk.

The warmth of the vanilla is the most distinctive in this fragrance. It is not too sweet or gourmand thanks to the beautiful opening notes of mandarin and bergamot.

The longevity is great! Long lasting. I must say I'm a big fan of the original The One (check out my earlier review on them) and this new refined range make me love them more. This beautiful eye-catching bottle made me try it, and I think it really is worth a try. I must say that amber and vanilla make a soft composition.

As for Dolce&Gabbana The One for Men Collector’s Edition, it is a fragrance that is classic and modern, vibrant and engaging. An Oriental Spicy perfume which is developed from the harmony of Tobacco notes and refined spices make up this elegant and sensual fragrance. Plus the nice tall, leather brown colour giving it more “Ummphhh”

The vibrant top notes comes from the mouth watering combination of Grapefruit, Coriander and Basil. Spicy and warm notes of Cardamom and Ginger drive the strong sensual signature, which over time yields to the authentic masculinity of the deep dry down of Tobacco and Ambery notes along with Cedarwood. The result: your cult-status favourite with a twist. So while it may be number five in a line of One-ness, there’s no denying it’ll look as impressive on your vanity as it smells on your single button, contemporary suit. In a nut shell, I would say that The One for Men is a concentrate of elegance and sensuality.

Thank you for reading my humble post and Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One for Men Collector’s Edition is currently available nationwide from November 2014.

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort - Hotel Review (Round tour video included)

Nov 24, 2014

legoland hotel review

Olla everyone!

How are you doing so far? As promised earlier in my other post (here), today I will share with you my experience checking in Legoland Malaysia Resort. Ever since the resort opened, I always wanted to come and visit. I heard about other people’s experience before and I’m so happy that finally able to check out with my own eyes.

legoland hotel reception

For a lego fan, it is absolutely a must go place. Even if you are not a hardcore lego fan like me, let’s just say you might be converted as soon as you step in at their beautiful lobby. There is a big castle and a giant ship playground at the lobby. Very2 children friendly and family oriented hotel. While waiting, you can get your partner to play lego with your kids. You see the square pillar in the picture? You can take up lego that were provided and play with it while waiting. Interesting huh?

I do take a simple video at the reception while I’m at my que trying to check In. Just incase you want to check it out, click play below :

They have 3 type of theme room which are the Kingdom Room, Adventure Room and the Pirate Room. Each theme you have an option to go for premium type or the deluxe type of room. As for deluxe room, it can sleep up to 8 persons (Maximum 4 Adults per room). While for premium room, it can sleep up to 5 persons (Maximum 3 Adults per room). Not bad huh?

legoland hotel room type

This is the interesting part! I also took a video of the room round tour, so you can see how awesome it is! Hahahaha.. ya by the way, my room was the pirate theme. It was just so pretty awesome.

pirate room legoland

Check out the nice comfy bed and the amount of detailing involved. From the floor to the wall up to the ceiling was in line with the theme. So cute! Ai ai captain..

lego monkey

This lil guy over here is made out of lego tooo.. and yes.. he is also one of the décor in my room. So creative huh?

I found it very thoughtful of the hotel management to provide and instruction on how to operate the air cond. Ya, truth to be told, sometime I struggle to figure out how to adjust air cond level whenever I check in to hotels. Another plus point for Legoland.

The room also provide activities for your child. My daughter is too small to be able to enjoy it, so my hubby and I decided to enjoy it ourself hahaha… In the room you will find this green box filled with Lego bricks. Not just that, at the kids section you will also locate a treasure chest. They provide a clue on how to solve the mystery and once you got it all right, it will reveal a secret code and it is actually a code to open your treasure chest.

Check out what they have in the treasure chest. It makes a nice souvenirs too. We have a good experience staying at the hotel. Anyway I was expecting for a bath tub, but it is not there. Its okay for me because the awesomeness of the room makes bathtub the least of my concern. Did I mention that kids section equipped with their own tv, which means parents get to enjoy their own show without worrying the kids would conquer the tv.. haha For internet savvy parents, don’t worry as once you check in the reception will provide you will wifi password where you get to utilise during your stay there.

The next morning, we woke up early because we are so excited to enjoy and explore Legoland Themepark. Before we do that, we went to Bricks Family Restaurant to enjoy the breakfast buffet. It is located at the ground floor and very easy to find. Check out the colourful entrance. It sparks up the fun and cheerful ambiance.

I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the food that much as I am occupied with my 6 months old baby sofea. Like many other restaurant visit, my hubby and I always take our turn to eat. So the other party could entertain our baby. This time around, my hubby was in charged to take the food and I’m in charged to hang out with baby sofea. Fun task I must say.. haha.. Amyway, this they also provide a baby seat so you don’t have to worry about that.

I prepared food for my baby from home and chill it in our room refrigerator. So, baby sofea get ot enjoy mummy’s home cook baby puree. I know this is not related but I also took a video of my baby eating the food. I think she loves it haha.. (by know you might have noticed that I am obsessed with her).

So, that’s about it. I hope you like this post and I hope that you find it helpful. I’m trying my very best to give you more insight of what Legoland Malaysia Resort have to offer. For me personally, it a nice trip and we created lots of fun memories there. About the rates, do check out their website for the latest rate and current promotion.

Thanks for dropping by at my humble blog. I will also write about Legoland ThemePark experience soon. Please stay tune for that ya..

Review Centara Anda Dhevi Resort and Spa, Krabi

Nov 19, 2014

Olla everyone!

Since is it end of the year, school holiday around the corner and many of you might have been thinking on where to go to finish off your annual leave or maybe you just want to recharge before the new year… Well, what about Krabi?

Last month, I went to Krabi with my workmates as it is our company trip.. So, I was thinking maybe it is a good idea to share a lil bit of insight and write a review about this hotel where we stayed in. Just incase, you are in the market to search out for your accommodation in Krabi.

centara anda dhevi review

So, we stayed for 3D2N at this beautiful yet very reasonable Centara Anda Dhevi Resort and Spa, Krabi. We took the Deluxe Room with 2 single bed for sharing basis. As we arrived it took around 40 minutes ride to arrive to our hotel and it is located at Ao Nang beach. You can also take a bus or taxi for a more budget more of travelling. Since we are going in a group and aiport transfer is included in our package so we just go with the flow and took the van provided.

As we arrived, the check in procedure it very smooth as we already paid upfront for the accommodation all we need to do is just provide the booking number and we are good to go. Seriously it take less than 15 minutes and we were also served with a nice lemon grass welcome drink. If I am not mistaken this hotel is 4 star and believe it or not is cost us only RM280++ per night. I personally believe that is a very affordable rate for 4 star hotel.

The lobby, candid pic.. I bet my peers are updating status or check in fb LOL

The room is quote spacious and comfy, all the nessecary amenities were provided like tea bag/ coffee, soaps etc but do bear in mind to bring your toothbrush. I didn’t bring mind as normally hotels do provide, have no idea why they didn’t provide at that time. Maybe run out of stocks I guess. Even if you didn’t bring it, it is not the end of the world, just in front of Centara Anda Dhevi Resort you able to find FamilyMart where you can grab your supplies or snacks.

my room, comfy and they also provide the hugging pillow

This hotel also have a bath tub, it is a must for me to have a bathtub everytime I book for a hotel. Ya…. Kesian or not? I don’t have bath tub at home, so the only time for me to enjoy my bath bomb or bath fizz is when I stayed in hotel rooms. Hahahaha…

Nice swimming pool huh?

the yummy pancake 40 bath

As for food option, like many other hotels they provide breakfast with good selections. If you are bored with hotel food, you can always check out the hawkers stall. It is just a walkable distant outside of the hotel. Like literally I can crawl to go to the hawker stall with out even feeling penat.. That near… hahaa I don’t know about you but for me, the best part about Thailand is their hawkers food!! How can I resist? Check out this yummy banana nuttela pancake. Cost me only 40 bath (around rm4) and it is super yummy! Every time go Thailand, die2 have to makan this yummy stuff.

Picture I took at Ao nang Beach

Maybe, I write a separate post of our activities and where we eat and even our experience at emerald pool… Since this is a post about the hotel, I must say, I am more than happy to come back again maybe next time with my baby sofea and my hubby.

Thank you for reading my humble post, I hope it does help you out and stay tune for more updates. Don’t forget to like my fanpage and Instagram at the side banner there for more fun update.

WALL’S PADDLE POP AND LEGOLAND® MALAYSIA RESORT break a new record in Malaysia Book of Records

Olla people!
If you are on my facebook or Instagram, I bet you might have noticed that last Friday I went to LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort and great thanks to Paddle Pop for giving us the opportunity to celebrate Children’s in such an awesome way!
This is actually the first time, I am allowed to bring my husband and our baby Sofea for a media trip and we are sooo excited. It is always nice to hangout with blogger peers and get to know people from the main media including their family members. We went there by 2 bus, great work by the PR team for being super thoughtful and accommodating to us thought out the whole journey!
As we arrived, we check in to Legoland hotel and the room blown up my mind. I am planning to write about the hotel experiences as well as the themepark experience in another post. Please stay tune for that ya.. *wink wink*
One of the main reason we were brought to Legoland is to witness and take part in the campaign to break the Malaysian Book of Records. for “The Biggest Painting Assembled by Children”. In conjunction with World Children’s Day, Paddle Pop and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort invited 725 children from various orphanages and kindergartens in Johor as well as children guests from LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort to paint their pledge to have fun as kids. All individual handprinted tiles from the children were gathered to break the record for the largest assembled painting measuring 12.27 metres by 7.53 metres (40.26 feet by 24.7 feet). This broke the previous record of 9.75 metres by 5.48 metres (32 feet by 18 feet).
“I am extremely thrilled that Wall’s Paddle Pop and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort have broken the Malaysia Book of Records with these kids while spreading awareness of “Let Kids be Kids”. The breaking of the record symbolizes the pledge by kids to have fun while they are still kids, which is inspired by Paddle Pop’s brand core belief of “Let Kids be Kids,” Shawn added.
2014-11-15 15.13.14
Children today may be busier than ever. Their schedules are usually filled with school, tuition classes and enrichment classes such as piano, art and dance classes. Likewise, childhood pastimes are increasingly moving indoor with electronic gadgets like televisions, computer and mobile devices.
In light of this, Paddle Pop and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort joined hands to bring the outdoor fun experience to these children.
“We are happy to collaborate with Paddle Pop under our CSR programme of Merlin Magic Wand to celebrate World Children’s Day with this fantastic record-breaking activity. We are excited to display the painting at our Resort as a beautiful reminder for children and their parents on the importance of balancing studies and having fun outdoors,” said Mark Germyn, General Manager LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort.During the World Children’s Day activity, over 400 underprivileged children from the orphanages in Johor were treated to a fun and exciting theme park experience in LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort.
I personally believe that it is important to let kids be kids for as long as they could. It is also even more important for adults especially parents to support, spend some quality time with them and just enjoy the fun together. I will definitely bring Sofea to come and visit Legoland another round.
2014-11-15 09.39.27
That’s it for now, thank you for reading my humble post. Stay tune for my future post as I will be sharing more about the hotel room and the themepark plus new show by Legoland. Have a great day ahead!

Dettol pH Balance shower Gel

Nov 17, 2014

dettol ph balance

Olla everyone!

How are you today? Hope you are doing great Smile

Being a mother, I am always very concern about hygienic condition especially when my baby is around. Other than taking care and making sure almost everything is germ free for my baby, it is also very important for me to ensure that me myself are free from germs. Why?

Let me give you an example, lets say my baby is already in a hygienic condition and then I decided to hug her (like I always do) what if my body is not as clean as I wish it could be? What if someone cough in the lif on my way back from work and the nasty germs stuck on my clothes? This might increase the potential of my baby getting sick.. now, no one would want that right?

Went taking about killing germs, I bet many of us would automatically think of Dettol. Am I right? hahaha.. well, what can I say it is the renowned brand when it comes to providing a peace of mind dealing with bacteria and germs. I still remember that my granma used to mop our her floor with Dettol floor cleaner last time Smile with tongue out

Well, guess what? Dettol came out with a new pH balance shower gel that not only have all the other goodness of killing bacteria and germs but also formulated to have a healthy pH that greatly suitable for our skin. Do you know that many soaps & shower cream/gel out that in the market were actually alkaline?

So what's the big fuss over pH? Our skin is naturally designed to fight infection and environmental stresses and its ability to do so is affected by its pH level. The pH level of the skin refers to how acidic or alkaline it is. On a scale of 1-14, with 1 being the most acidic to 14 being the most alkaline, 7 is considered a neutral. Our skin has a thin, protective layer on its surface, referred to as the acid mantle. This acid mantle is made up of sebum (free fatty acids) excreted from the skin's sebaceous glands, which mixes with lactic and amino acids from sweat to create the skin's pH, which ideally should be slightly acidic - at about 4.0 – 6.0.

Many factors can interfere with the delicate balance of the skin's acid mantle, both externally and internally. As we age, our skin becomes more acidic in response to our lifestyle and our environment. Everything that comes in contact with our skin (products, smoking, air, water, sun, pollution) can contribute to the breaking down of the acid mantle, disrupting the skin's ability to protect itself.

A damaged acid mantle leads to a number of skin issues, such as over dry skin, dehydration, over oily skin, flaky skin, acne, sensitivity, etc. It would require another long post to detail all this. But incorrect pH products can contribute to acid mantle degradation, and increases in acne-causing bacteria on the skin.

Well, dont take my words for it, do check out this Demo Test Video to see it yourself on the pH balance test. Link :

If you can see here, the Dettol matches skin’s natural pH. While Brand X is alkaline – causes skin dryness, may lead to premature aging.

My personal favourite would be the Skincare (pink colour) range that come in a very nice delicate smell of rose. Not only I know that it helps to protect my skin from germs, it also help to nourish my skin while maintating the pH. My husband preferred the Original one, as he love the signature smell of Dettol.

Olla everyone!

My baby is turning 6 months tomorrow, and like most mother out there.. This is one of the moment we have all been waiting for. As it will be the first time our lill angel introduce to food.. yummy!! I personally very excited to check out her expression Smile

Anyway, it happened to be that invited to celebrate World Children's Day with Paddle Pop at Legoland Malaysia on the day that Sofea going to turn 6 months.(TOMORROW, my husband and I apparently are more excited that our baby hahaha) So, I decided to prepared her with our own homemade semi-solid food. Then, I could bring it over there and feed her.

I decided to go for homemade food, it is the healthier option. I do understand that it can be such a hassle to maintain in the long run. Well, anything for my baby Smile  So today, I decided to share how easy n simple to make your own healthy, nutritious baby food.

baby semi solid food homemade

Carrot & Sweet Corn Baby Food Recipe

Ingredients :

1 organic carrot (steam or boil it)

1/2 organic sweet corn (steam or boil it)

3ml or 1 onz of mummy’s milk or formula milk (up to you)

How to do it :

1) Steam or boil both carrot n your sweet corn until it is soft.

2) Chop it off in big chuck n throw it into food processor and add the milk. I don't have a specific baby’s food processor so I used my blender. It works just fine Smile

3) You are done. Yabe daa beduuu!

How to keep and feed :

1) You can keep it in a container to be frozen. I put my baby food in those ice cube container (get the medium size) that I bought from Daiso for only Rm5 and it comes with a cover.

2) You can put it in your freezer. To use it, took it out. At first I am going to go with 1 cube per food session.

3) So take out 1 cube and put it into milk storage bag (look for the one with non-bpa, non what-so-ever all that) and then soak the bag into warm water.

4) Once your baby food is soft n warm, it is ready for your lil angel Smile

KO Skincare Range Review

Olla everyone!

Do you still remember my previous post about my aesthetic treatment that I have done quite recently? Click the link below if you are curious. Basically, I went to visit KO Skin Specialist to get my milia seed removed and tried the skin peeling treatment. Yes, my skin literally peel in order to give way to the new baby skin Smile

Link :

Talking about that, I also promised to do a review of the skincare that I used to maintain my skin right after the treatment. As you can see in both of the picture above, I have around 8 wonderful products on my hand. I have been using it very religiously and I am happy with the result. Allow me to share a lil bit info on each products and what is my opinion after using it.

First we have this Bio Perform Acne Cleanser which is under the Dermax range. I was consulted to use this since my skin is prone for acne. I love the smell of this product. It smell like tea tree oil. I bet it is a common knowledge that tea tree oil has unique disinfecting and soothing properties, unlike other acne treatments, tea tree oil will not strip your skin of its natural oils and cause further damage.

Cost : RM 139 for 120ml

Next we have this Anti-Acne Mist. I have been using this mist and treat it like a toner. I also been using it as my face mist when ever I feel the need. I like the feeling of refresh each time I put it on. This product do not have a specific smell that I can relate to but I do love the consistency. It is very light in terms of texture it feel like spraying water mist to your face. This particular product help to not only make your skin fresh but also helps to penetrate deep into skin tissues and stop bacteria from spreading. I also found that it helps to reduce redness.

Cost : RM 120 for 60ml

Moving forward, is this Vitality Purifying Essence. This essence act as the protective layer shield. I was consulted to use this product right after toner before continue using other cream or products. The texture of this product is slightly thicker consistency compare to the anti-acne mist. I like how it is very fast to be absorbed into my skin and makes it very time-saving especially when I am in a hurry. Vitality Purifying Essence contain aloe vera juice, witch hazel as well as liquorice extract on top of other amazing ingredients. I must say that the aloe vera juice properties contribute a lot to the product texture. This products main function to boost the efficiency of your whole next skincare products plus it also helps to balance the pH of my skin. I personally noticed that my skin turn out to be less oily after using it. Plus point for the packaging. The fact that it come with the pump dispenser, it makes it very hygienic.

Cost : RM 139 for 30ml

Next in line, we have this Bio Comedone Essence. This one smells fruity! I like the smell alot.. haha as for the texture it is slightly thicker compare to the Vitality Purifying Essence and less runny. This product contained lemon extract, rosemary, chamomile, cemelia, bearberry, horse chestnut as well as shea butter. Can you imagine the amount of goodness compressed into this bottle? I personally love to find out what ingredients that were used into each formulation of products I used. It motivates me to use the products as I know that I am trying my best to give the best care for my skin Smile

This product were created with the aim to improve the skin barrier function which means it helps to improve skin ability to retain and restore liquid including all the goodness from the skincare you use. Did i mention that this product also contain pineapple extract? nice huh?

Do you know that there are two type of skin comedone? The closed comedone means you have a white head issue and the open comedone means you have blackhead. Telling by the name of this product, I believe you would have guessed that one of the main function of this Bio Comedone Essence is to help fight against black head and white head. Yes, I found that it does deliver what it promised.

Cost : RM 280 for 30ml

The fifth product that I would like to introduce to you is this Aqua Hydrating Moisturizer. The name says it all. This moisturizer is very hydrating and it is best used after laser or chemical peeling treatment. Right after my aesthetic treatment, I noticed that my skin are less flaky when I used this moisturizer. I must also mention here that all the products that came in a tube were accompany with a small spatula. I forgot to snap the picture of the spatula, basically it looks like a small spoon. Another plus point for being such a hygienic friendly packaging. This premium moisturizer contains vitamin B5, Hyaluronidase to soothe and calm irritated skin Smile Just what you need after your laser or chemical peeling treatment.

Cost : RM 280 for 60 gram

Check out these two babies. Both are sunblocks. I don't know how many times in the world that I reminded myself that sunblock is super duper important. It is your skin defence against all the nasty UV rays that is the main caused for aging as well as freckles. Want to keep your youth and slow down your aging clock? Then never ever forget sunblock. The one on the left is Advance Sunscreen with SPF 50 which falls under KO Dermacare range and the one on the right in the blue tube is the Perfect Block Plus Skin Perfecting Cream with SPF 80.

If you are wondering what is the main differences between these two products, the Perfect Block Plus contain more extra added benefit on top of just being being a sunblock. This Perfect Block Plus Skin Perfecting Cream have skincare properties which make it multifunctional. You may also check out the swatches I have done in the picture above to check out have some ideas about it.

Advance Sunscreen with SPF 50 – Cost : RM 180 for 30gram
