Let’s switch to Yoodo NOW!

I am so excited to share with you about this ground breaking new telco Yoodo. Imagine getting to customize your own plan and pay for only what you really need. To be completely honest, I can’t remember when is the last time I use SMS and I dont see the point of paying for the service when I dont utilise it. For those who travel frequently, imagine paying full amount of your plan but only get to use portion of the service because you are out of the country. This is where Yoodo really suits me. I get to pick what I need and pay only for that. Amazing right?

What if you want to get the simcard. Traditionally, I remember having to take leave and go to the nearest center, take number to que… haih… the whole she bang lah. Well, I am very happy that Yoodo put this into consideration and make it sooo much easier for anyone to get a simcard. You just order it using Yoodo App and then it will be DELIVERED to your doorstep. Didn’t even have to start  the car or find parking hehehe. Also, it is available on all iOs and Android.

Switching over to Yoodo is free!! Because the bill is borne by the mobile service provider. You can keep your number and enjoy the flexibility of using Yoodo or you can also order a new number. Depending on what tickle your fancy.

What I really love about Yoodo is because it have NO CONTRACT. You can set your plan to auto-renew or you can also turn it off manually.You dont have to worry about late payment. You can control and check out everything on your dashboard via the Yoodo app. You can see your usage, how many days your plan is active for and many other details. Most important of all, if you change your mind and move on to other telco there is no OPT-OUT Fees or penalty. You may also return back to Yoodo anytime you want with no extra charges. Talk about being super flexible!!

Let’s take a closer look at Yoodo simcard pack.

Cute or not? I recevied my simcard in this container with a personalized name on it. It is a special gift from Yoodo to me. On top of the simcard, I received a brand new phone by Huawei, personalized T-shirt, Go Get Voucher, HonestBee Voucher and mechandized by Yoodo which is a pen and a cap. My daughter claimed the cap as hers LOL.

Once you download Yoodo App and going to activate your SIM the only thing you need is the SIM card (there is bar code at the back of the card), your IC or passport and then your debit or credit card. I personally like it because the SIM is pre-cut so if you dont have to go the shop to get it cut into nano size and what not. Next, just scan the barcode. Then put in your email add and password.

Yoodo will send over Yoodo PIN and you key that in to validate. Then the fun part begin. Time to pick our own Hybrid Mobile plan. It is not prepaid or postpaid. It i something very new and the first that I have encountered in the market. It works like a postpaid because it  have a monthly features of auto-renewal but it dont not have any contract.

Some of the combinations that I tried. You can pick how much Data, Voice, SMS or if you want to add on dedicated data for Facebook, Instagram, Youtube or you want to add in Roaming and IDD for that month. I also found out that you can always top up the services you want along the way. If you change your mind you can also change and pick new selection and it will take affect by next month.

After deciding which plan that suits you, you get to pick a new number. Then just take out your identity card and scan it right away. Then key in your payment details. As simple as that. No such thing as the need to photocopy your ic and stuff. It is done instantly all from the app. I find it very convinient and I completed whole steps in less than 10 minutes.

All done! Did the whole registration while on my way to visit my in laws in Melaka. On passenger seat ofcause lah. I received a message of activation right after that. One of my personal worries when joining a new Telco is coverage. However, I am very happy to share that it is not my issue at all with Yoodo. Because they are riding on Celcom’s network so most likely they got coveraged all figured out. I test it along highway to Melaka it works fine. Even at my mil kampung the coverage is impressive.

They deliver the simcard to our doorstep. Owh ya, you get to pick either standard delivery (FREE) and it will take 1-3 days or if you want it fast you can opt for Express Delivery and you will get your Yoodo SIM within 2 hours (Klang Valley area for now at RM15 charge).
