Liquid Z3S Phone by Acer (First Impression)
Olla ladies, I am sharing with you about something fresh today. In fact it is so fresh, by the time I write this it haven't reach Malaysian market officially yet! So whats the fuss? I was given an opportunity to review a new affordable smart phone range by Acer and held a giveaway for it as well. Will share about the giveaway soon, lets talk about the phone first shall we?
Honestly, I didn't have enough time to play around and explore this gadget yet, so I am going to share with you my first impression of the gadget first. What makes this particular phone interesting other than it is introduce at such an affordable price is that it have 2 simcard slot which means this tiny monster capable to host 2 line.
It is running Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the Z3 and it have dual core CPU. Okay what does dual core CPU means anyway? It means that the processor is actually 2 processors on one chip. A core 2 duo actually has 2 processing circuits on the same chip so that the processor can literally do two things at once. With an operating system designed for multi-core computing (all modern OS'es are) it can split the load up between the two CPU's to speed up the system. For instance, it can run one program on core 0 and another one core 1 (computers like to start at 0 when counting) so that each program works as if it is the only program running on the PC (they don't slow down each other and both can max out the CPU at the same time). This is good for say, running virus scan while watching a movie in HD or playing a game (though newer games actually can split their own code between the processors so the game can run faster).
To make it more simple, single chip with 2 logical core (like having a team of 2 working together to make things smoother faster and easier for you). Lets check out the phone itself. Pssst… I got it in red.. Weee!
So how much does this android phone cost? You wont believe it trust me, super affordable that almost anyone could have a smart phone. It is currently retailing at RM299. Yes..
