I am so happy that you are reading my blog today as I will be sharing an awesome product and also hosting a giveaway towards the end of this post. Before we get into that, allow me to introduce Sofea’s new favorite learning tools. There will be two products which are the Play-Doh Shape and Learn Textures and Tools, and also the Play-Doh Rainbow Starter Pack.  My daughter was beyond ecstatic when I brought it home for unboxing.

See? Told ya.. which is why I used the word wonder ecstatic. Wonder where she learned such an expressive reaction LOL!

I don’t think Play-Doh needs further introduction as it is a renowned brand when it comes to children’s development assistance. You may already know that I am quite picky when it comes to Sofea’s surrounding and that include anything she touches. The main reason why I trusted Play-Doh is because Play-Doh compound is non-toxic, non-irritating and non-allergenic. Basically it is a mixture of three main ingredients - water, salt and flour. It does NOT contain peanuts, peanut oil, or any milk by-product.

Anyway, do you know that Play-Doh is celebrating their 60th anniversary not only in Malaysia, but every part of the world? Congrats to that!! I still remember when I was a child, receiving a Play-Doh from my parents was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. Haha like seriously, are you feeling me?

The first product we have here is the Play-Doh Shape and Learn Textures and Tools playset. You can find that each Play-Doh set is tailored for your child’s age. The Shape and Learn category we have here is for kids aged 2 years and above, and it is catered to encourage a child's development and parental bonding with the child. Just about right for my curious lil Sofea! The set also comes with a 12-page guide on how you can have an enjoyable time with your little ones. I also think it is a great set to bring for a play date session.

It includes various tools (3 multi textured stampers, 3 rollers, 2 rolling cutters, scissors, stylus, and also 3 sheets of re-usable doublesided playmats). It is such a great indoor activity that will enhance her motor skill, hand-eye coordination, creativity and of course, her communication skill. You have no idea the amount of chit chatting that happened during her play time with Play-Doh. She also invited 2 of her bear friends to join the fun – I love how she uses her imagination and creativity - haha.

I showed her how to use the stamp tools and then.. within seconds she replicated what I showed her.

 

 

As a mother, I am happy to know that she utilizes her play time developing different skills. Such as stamping, cutting and we also taught her about different color names along the process. It is mesmerizing how fast a little one is able to absorb. By giving them the right product, this makes the entire learning process easier.

 

The next product we have here is the Play-Doh Rainbow Starter Pack worth RM31.90. I think it is a great additional product to any Play-Doh set. I mean.. more Play-Doh more fun right? Haha Living up to the name of the set, this product contains 7 colors of the rainbow. You may also check out the back of the box to mix them up and creatively come up with new colors. We had so much fun combining both products. The possibilities are endless and it is amazing how Play-Doh products encourage kids to open a can of imagination.
