Taaa daaa!
As you can see on top left, I used VARDAGEN Milk/cream jug as a flower pot. Just to jive with the theme. I also put a cupcake with a pink roses buttercream in order match the whole look. What do you think? Bear in mind, I am not a professional in this but I have tried my very best so that my daughter get to enjoy the high tea.
Even make the fruit tart and the trifle on my own. You can actually do it yourself too. Trust me it is super easy. If you read my earlier post, then you can check out how effortless to make those yummy dessert!
For the plate, I am using DINERA plate and site plate. All I did was to stack them up together for a chic look. I go for light pink (they actually came in few other colours). I also put a napkin in between the plate just to give a hint of tender touch to it. Here I am using FANTASTISK Paper napkin it cost only RM9.90 for 100pcs. Such a worthy buy if you ask me. Since it is also 3 layers it makes the napkin thick and highly absorbent. If you go to Ikea, you might have noticed that they also come in many design to suit any of your function. Tried to make some sort of origami using the napkin but I decided not to include them as I need to work harder on practising my folding skills hahaha.
The top layer was the tea cup and the saucer. It is the VARDAGEN series and it cost around Rm13.90 for a set. Worthy right? So cute, I like how simple and elegant the tea cup designed.
Here is another angle of our high tea table setting. Just to give you more visibility. The chubby tea pot used is also available in the VARDAGEN series. I really like the VARDAGEN series very much, you wont believe that the tea pot cost only RM29.90 Sayyyy whatttt???? Yes, I have a hard time believing as well haha.. I mean, the designed is just timeless. Simplicity at its best.
As for the center piece, I used KVITTERA Serving stand it comes in 3 tiers and I just think that it look stunning! I am fond of the oval shape pf the serving stand and the fact that it is transparent makes it even charming to my eyes. You can get it from IKEA near you for only RM39.90 and you may also use it for other occasion as well.
That’s about it for today. I trully hope you enjoy this post. I would like to thank IKEA for partnering this round. To be completely honest, IKEA is my most favourite place to source out for Home and Living products. The first ever furniture that I bought was from Ikea. So, Ikea do have a special spot in my heart. What is not to like? Their design are just versatile, products are durable (kitchen cabinet have warranty up to 10 years OMG), price is also kind to my pocket and to top it off the buying experience and after sales service is good too. As usual all ideas and opinions are my own. If you want to check out more about the products that I have used, do so by clicking below :
