Sofea First Camera! NIKON COOLPIX W100
Assalamualaikum and Olla everyone!
How are you today? Hope you are feeling great. Today I would like to share with you about my daugther’s first ever gadget which is Nikon CoolPix W100. I still remember when I was a child my father have always been obsess about camera. Like seriously, lots of my memories with him involving taking picture. Everyone in the family knows that my dad love to capture moments. Every time we have family event like kenduri, raya and even birthday.. my dad is the camera man. Those were the days when camera were still pretty manual and not really a necessity. No such thing as digital screen. You have to snap and pray that the picture will turn out good. Each roll of film you have maximum 36 try out. Because they is no erase button hahaha.. I dont know if you can relate but ya those were the days.
Some of the pictures taken by my dad.
Normally, my sibling and I were his model. We were requested to stay beside flowers, statue, and even banner hahahaha.. It is safe to say we had good training to pose in front of camera ever since we were a child and none of my siblings were camera shy hahaha.. I dont know how many times we went to camera shop to accompany him to print out pictures. My dad love printing pictures and collect an album. Ever since I was a little girl, my dad never go out of the house without his camera.
My dad with his own Nikon.
Fast forward to current day, I would say my dad were the one that introduce me to photography and I am glad he did. It allow me to capture moment with my family and even help me in blogging. Even I am not a pro in picture taking but I honestly love the process. As it reminded me of my dad’s passion.
Okay now that I have a daughter, she seem to love taking picture and I think it is a good idea to introduce her to photography from young age. Since that we now live in a fast pace world they even had camera specially for kids!!
Introducing NIKON CoolPIx W100. We had it in pouch so that it will reduce the chances of it getting scratch.
Taaaaa daaaa!! Why they dont have this when I was a child??? WHY?????? Well anynway, this camera currently retailing at RM528 for White, Blue, Yellow and Pink, RM558 for Marine designed. We got a white camera for Sofea. What I love most about it is that it is a waterproof camera and also shockproof. Very suitable for kids who tend to be clumsy. since my daughter love to swim, she can even record her splashing time with the camera. Yeay!

That is my daughter, caught in action taking picture of her dad which is my husband obviously.
Sofea likes to imitate anything my husband and I do. From the way talk to the way we walk being a part time blogger, my husband and I take lots of picture and video to document our journey. So, recently sofea get her first ever gadget all thanks to #nikonmalaysia now sofea will get to snap picture/video too!! . . This #coolpixW100 is a #waterproofcamera that can go as deep as 10 meter underwater and also shock proof. Yeay!!! . . I love the see picture from her point of view. Would you like to see them too?
As I grew older, I realized that mostly everything around me change. That nothing is permenant. Products get expired or worn out, building gets old, people come and go and even feeling change. But what does stay permemant are memories. Which is why I tried my best to teach my child to enjoy every moment in life and to capture it whenever we could. Overall, I am happy with the device and glad to be introducing gadget that are meaningful to my daughter.
Hope you like this post and find it beneficial somehow. I will try my best to share more products and services that my family have personally tried in the future. Thank you for supporting brand that we love.
