Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits (Champagne Pop/Hyacinth) | Review |

Assalamualaikum and Olla everyone!

Today I would like to share with you my love and hate relationship with this Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits. It is not a secret that Becca came up with highlight to die for. I already have the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter (in Champagne Pop ofcoz) at home, in the travel size and the full size and I have been loving it very much. I actually love them more than hourglass highlighter. So, I was like why do I need more?

I have been wanting to have it for awhile. Swatch it many times at Sephora but didnt make the purchase as I am still hesitating. Still very tempted but then I put it on my low priority list. Then…. suddenly Sephora have this massive halloween sale for 60% if I spent RM900 and above. I am like what?? I can’t control my fingers anymore. It just went clicking. One thing lead to another and here we are talking about Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits on my blog. I am so happy to get it at such a Bargain. Instead of paying RM206 for a unit, I only spent RM82.40. Felt like winning a lottery expecially when I have been aiming to own it for awhile.20171227_133822

Open up the package at my office, one of my office mate asked why do I buy a full size Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter and then this? It both have same highlighter code. She didnt know I have 1 more full size of the Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter and the travel size at home LOL..

I mean when you like something best not to run out of it right? Plus, since you still need to replenish when it is empty might as well stock up when there is sale. Like a toothpaste for example. Anyhow, you still need a toothpaste. If you already like a certain brand and flavour. Then it makes all the sense in the world to stock them up when it is sale. Atleast for me lahh..

The math :-

1 unit of Fullsize Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter = RM195

after 3-6 months still have to buy

Buy during sale = RM78 (after 60%)

Saving of RM117 in a long run

Anyway, let’s not talk about the Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter. Today we are talking about Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits. I like it because I find it very functional. It have both blusher and also my favourite highlighter. If I go travelling, I dont have to bring two seperate product so it will save space and not be as bulky.

This limited edition collection come with three types of colour options for the blusher. I decided to go with Hyacinth as it is more intense pink. The other options is very light and more towards mellow and nude feel.

The packaging is solid which I love. This collection have gold detailing compared to the rest of Becca which is in dark grey. The gold detailing is much more pleasing to my eyes. The only thing that I am tolerating is that it does catch your thumbprint and dirt but okay not as bad as the rubbery Nars packaging. I still finding myself cleaning it up with a wet wipes every now and then.

Taaa Daaa…………. Nice or not? I like that they have seperator in between no colour contimination. Yeay!! Champange pop is hands down amazing, with the frosted finish and the buttery texture. Just one swirl can really compliment your look. When I saw the hyacinth blusher, suddenly I have a mix feeling. It looks quite intense. I mean, I do swatch it before and all that but when you swatch with the feeling of excitement and when you swatch a product that is already yours… it is a different kind of feeling.

Well, I try to pull it off. The texture is buttery, super smooth and yes very pigmented. Tooo pigmented that I really need to be careful with my blush hahaha.. With this blusher a light dap and it is already good amount for both of my cheeks. If I go in further then I will look like a blushing barney.

Actually it is great that it is pigmented because I get to be creative with it. Once, I forgot to pack my lipstick with me and then I tried putting on hyacinth my lips to give some colour and it resulted to a nice matte finish on my lips. Plus it match my blusher haha..

Here is the swatch. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. Since Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits is a limited edition unit, glad to own it (finally). Happy with how it performed and presented. Overall, I am a satisfied customer. Looking forward to grow my Becca Collection and I hope this wont be the last collaboration with Jaclyn Hill. Looking forward to see more awesome product soon!!

Also, I am not paid or sponsored to write this. But if anyone want to sponsor me some make up, then by all mean you are totally welcome! hahahahaha (tak malu)
