Epilators Review - Your alternative of shaving or waxing

You know what a tweezer aka pbk (I called my tweezer as pbk which stands for pemcabut bulu ketiak) for your brows and armpit is right? That's basically what an epilator is with 50 or more tiny tweezers. What it does is similar to waxing, but instead of placing a wax onto your leg and pulling the hair out all at once, you use an epilator to tweeze the hairs out. You may also found  it as more like threading but with a machine.

Regards to this I would like to share my experience of using Epilator. Maybe I can just summarise the pro n cons of the epilator experience first before jumping of to the product that I am currently using.

Pros: It can leave your legs VERY smooth, as well as armpits haha. You don't need to be showering to use it. So on those days when you just want to lay at your sofa while watching a movie to remove the hair, you can do that! (Make sure you sweep or vacuum after that, you don’t want your unwanted hair everywhere on your sofa after that euww)  And depending on the type of hair you have, the results can last a good amount of time. It's more convenient and not as messy. With shaving, you HAVE to be in the bathroom, and you have to use running water and messy shaving gels. Epilating can be done on clean skin.

Cons: Dreadfully loud. The sound alone will scare you into not wanting to use it! Also, on thinner leg hair, it will not be as effective. Also, it will hurt the first time for sure. The more you do it though, the less it hurts. It does depend though on your own pain tolerance. It also will show off just how dry your legs are, so you need to exfoliate beforehand and moisturize afterwards. Although this is good for regular shaving :)

Well, this is the machine I used. I got it at ebay. I bought it at RM 55.90 (so WORTH it, most epilators in the market cost wayyyy higher) The items is made in China however so far I don’t have any technical problem with it. Seriously like way cheaper than waxing or threading and you can use it many times at the comfort of your own home.

 As you can see in the picture above, this machine looks like a female automated shaver right? It have 2 speeds. You can easily clean it off with water (the razor part) by pressing on the red button on the side to take out the razor part. What I like about this products is it is not heavy and it is RECHARGABLE with cable. Some epilators in the market operated with batteries and I don’t like going on and off to market just to get batteries. It also came with as light section (I don’t really need that, I mean who do it in the dark?)  Apart from that I love this machine because it is affordable way to maintain a silky smooth hairless body :P
