Grobag Review (The Safer Alternative to Blankets)

image

Olla mummy, daddy n future parents!

If you are on my social networks, I believe you might have noticed that I have been sharing about Grobag. It is my current top fav garments for my baby sofea. I am not saying this just because I am given 2 set for try out. I even personally got 2 more because my baby and I love it.  Like many other baby garments, you dont need 10.. all you need is a decent number that you are comfortable with according to your baby need. If you “rajin to basuh” daily, then 2 is a good number in my opinion.

Before we go into what makes me love it, lets check out the packaging as well as the feauture of this grobag. As you can see it comes in a compact packaging with all the info written all around it. Owh ya, by the way… this grobag received numbers of awards under best nursery product catergory and it is also approved by British Safety Standard (BS 8510:2009). Plus is it also recommended by FSID.

Once you open up the packaging, you get your beautiful grobag and a free nursery thermometer. Why you need a thermometer? I will share with you very shortly.

The thermometer actually helps you to decided which type of grobag plus clothes that your baby should be wearing. Let see, the themometer in the picture above shows 21 right? so on the right you get to see which type of tog suitable for your baby. In my case it is 1.0 tog. If the temperature is lower, then you baby might need to wear the slightly thicker version.

If it is non air-con room with Malaysia’s weather then I might suggest you get the 0.5 tog. At home, I have 1 unit of 0.5 tog (when we travel to places which don't have air-cond, 2 unit of 1.0 tog (every day sleep wear) and 1 unit of 2.5 tog (just incase we need to travel somewhere very cold). Yes, being a parents.. it makes you think of all possibilities and would want to ensure that your baby is always comfy and happy Smile

If you can see from the above picture, it comes with those cute easy to clip button at the shoulder part.

On the side of the “armpit area” ( i dont know what to call this area hahaa) , there is this secure button to cover the zip. I tend to use the zip section when ever I need to change her diapers. Baby, being baby they observed and try to imitate all the time. Sometime she does try to “unzip” herself and thanks to this secure feature her attempt does not work hahaha..

Check out Sofea in action! haha.. So now we come to he part why mummy and Sofea is loving this grobag. Let me just start by saying my baby is VERY active. She move around a lot. Trust me, she also like to kick her legs every few seconds. (I have tons of blur pictures in my phone.. hahaha.. small blur legs and hands. She wave all the time!).

So it does also happen when she sleeps, she tend to kick her blankets out. Then pull them away, plus she also like to pull her clothes up and show us her tummy. I does not sound so cute when you have to tuck her in every few minutes. hahaha

With this grobag, I have one less problem. No matter how much fun she had kicking and waving.. She will still be secured in the grobag. WIN WIN WIN that's how I like it!

Even she is not sleeping, sometime we travel and stay at hotel ( Well known to have super cold centralize air con) I decide to let her just chill in her grobag. She can seat, move around and even play in it comfortably. So basically, we love this grobag and hope that you will find it lovely too.

I do remembered that I promised to host a GIVE AWAY so that 20 more babies able to try it out. Then again, there is a reason why I decided not to. Will share more about why and what happen in the next post. Trust me, it is for a solid good reason Smile

Thank you once again for dropping by at my humble blog and for reading this post. I hope it helps to give you more insight if you are in the market to look for the safer sleep wear for your baby. Arigato!
