Freeman Hydrating Water Gel Mask and Soothing Cooling Mask |Review|
Assalamualaikum and Olla everyone!
How are you? Hope you are doing great. If you are not then not to worry because I am about to share a de-stress product! Yup, I always relate any facemask products as one of my go-to for if I ever need to de-stress. It is when I enjoy a good 10-15 minutes and practice self-love. Introducing this two facemask which is the HYDRATING Cactus + Cloudberry Water Gel Mask and SOOTHING Watermelon + Aloe Cooling Gel Mask. Have you tried them before?
Let’s talk about HYDRATING Cactus + Cloudberry Water Gel Mask first. This is a leave-on mask where you can apply right before going to sleep. This one smells super fruity maybe because it contains the cloudberry. It is actually my first time trying out a product that contains cloudberry. This mask is suitable for all skin type which is great as I get to share it with my husband. Ya, guys also need to de-stress okay..
This mask contains cactus extract, cloudberry juice with lots and lots of Omegas and Vitamin C. It is formulated for a healthy, hydrated and glowing skin. You can click the picture above for more details on what is written on the packaging.
The texture is gel like and it does not sting my face. I tend to avoid my eye areas and just put it all over my face. This is when I am too lazy to wear so many night skincare routine. I just want to wash my face, enjoy a bit of relaxing me time while nourishing my skin. This one smells super fruity maybe because it contains the cloudberry. It is actually my first time trying out a product that contains cloudberry. This mask is suitable for all skin type which is great as I get to share it with my husband. The next mask is this SOOTHING Watermelon + Aloe Cooling Gel Mask. This one claim to instantly nourishes and calms for a refreshed skin. If you ever planning a beach vacation, I think it is great to bring some of this mask together. I just came back from a quick trip to Pangkor. Despite wearing sunblock, I still have a little bit of sunburn so I end up using this mask for 3 nights straight and it does help to make my skin recover faster.
Like the other one earlier, you may click on this photo get to see what is written on the back of the tube clearer. It is mentioned that this one is a must-have for sensitive skin. Not sure why but most likely because of its calming properties as it contains aloe vera. On top of that, this mask also contains watermelon juice (nyum nyum!) so it will help to give refreshing hydration even for breakout-prone skin.
It is also a transparent gel-type, but this one is a wash off type. This on smell as fruity as the other one, it actually smells like a fruit jam to me haha… Just apply them on a freshly washed face and then wait for 10 minutes for your skin to soak up all the goodness. You may also continue with night skincare routine if you are feeling extra on that day.
To me, a hydrating mask is always welcome. Ever since I battled acne before, I realized that most of the skin issue is due to lack of hydration. Things like extra sebum, fine lines, early signs of wrinkle can all be tone down with good hydration. We are made out of a high composition of water, like a plant if it is not hydrated it will be wilted, so best to give it the hydration it needs so it stays a youthful as it could.
Both products are greatly affordable for the benefit and its performance. RM22.90 for 175ml of products is an accessible price point.
Alright I am at the end of this blogpost and I hope you find it beneficial if you are looking for a product to de-stress that won't hurt your pocket. For more details, you can check out Freeman Beauty Instagram by clicking here.
